British Gay Studio Makes Phoenix Connection

HardBritLadsPHOENIX – Simon Booth, a UK-based director of gay adult content, has partnered with a U.S. company to redevelop and re-launch his flagship website, HardBritLads.com.

“I want to focus on creating movies and documentaries,” Booth said. “To achieve my goals, I need to rely on a team that can manage all the intricacies of bringing to market my movies and continue to grow [my website’s] presence.”

To accomplish that task, he selected Mania Media LLC, which manages gay British affiliate programs including Eurocreme Cash, UKNM Cash, WoofCash and HotJocksCash.

“Mania Media has a great European and North American presence in the adult entertainment industry,” Booth said. “Teaming up with them creates possibilities for me.”

Booth, an award-winning director, has directed more than 30 movies for Eurocreme and more than 250 videos for his own company, in addition to working with other European and American studios. He also has directed mainstream projects including documentaries, music videos and television title sequences.

In 2012, Hard Brit Lads was nominated for the Cybersocket Web Award for Best European Site; in 2008 Booth received both Best Director and Best Group Scene honors from the European Gay Porn Awards.

“Simon is a gifted director and has built a European flagship with Hard Brit Lads,” Mania Media owner Roger McMan said. “The team is very happy to add his creation to our network of sites, as the fit is perfect for both of our companies. His talent pool includes newly discovered faces such as handsome, muscled Theo Reid, super-hung Kayden Grey, nine-inch kick-boxer Daniel James, hot muscle bottom Yohann Banks and the stunning athlete Guy Rogers, who [have found] great success [on Booth’s] site.”

Mania Media will manage both the website and its affiliate program, Hard Brits Cash, which pays a 50- to 70-percent recurring revenue share. Both are scheduled to re-launch by the end of September.

G. Zisk Rice

A native of Minot, North Dakota, G. Zisk Rice left his heart and other parts of his anatomy in San Francisco during a Navy shore leave, leading to an embarrassing demonstration of "don't ask, don't tell" in action. After earning a degree from UC Berkeley, he wrote for AVN's now-defunct GAYVN magazine before joining YNOT's editorial team in 2011. His heart and other body parts still belong to the man who claimed them while Rice was on shore leave. The couple married in May 2013.
