Peekaboo Acquires AMV

Mobjizz Adjizz
LONDON – Peekaboo Investment Ltd., the corporate parent of adult traffic networks Mobjizz and Adjizz, has acquired London-based direct-to-consumer mobile content service American Mobile Ventures.

“Peekaboo views AMV as having a highly complementary mobile offer and intends to use AMV’s considerable range of mobile products and markets to help bulk up the mobile products arm of Mobjizz,” Sales Director Alex Noirot-Cosson said.

Founded in 2004, AMV employs 20 staff members and provides adult mobile services in the UK, Australia, South Africa, Brazil, Italy and Norway. By focusing on Google AdWord media buying, AMV has expanded with notable successes, Noirot-Cosson said.

“We have been focusing [Mobjizz’s] efforts on our core market, which is the UK, and have spent a lot of time building a strong offer,” he said. “The introduction of the AMV services [integrated with] Mobjizz will enable our affiliates to push more services within the UK and also benefit from the new markets that AMV is offering.

“We will integrate these new, highly competitive services into our affiliation program,” Noirot-Cosson added. “We know there are some gems here, and we will be offering full white-label support, as we know how important it is to protect the brands.”

Noirot-Cosson indicated the AMV acquisition is the first in a series of potential acquisitions for London-based Peekaboo Investment, which debuted only 18 months ago.
