Niched Dating Sites Report Tremendous Growth
YNOT EUROPE – A London-based adult dating network said it has experienced revenue growth of nearly 3,000 percent since October 2010, thanks to the “niching” facility of its white-label platform.
According to Operations Director Matthew Pitt, Casual.WhiteLabelDating.com boasts more than 2,000 niche-interest sites that cater to consumers based on age, sexual orientation, language, interests and geographical location, among other things. Some of the most successful sites in the European portion of the network cater to cougars, MILFs and redheads. In the U.S., the company has noticed a great deal of activity in the BBW and BDSM niches, and a growing interest in “dogging,” a British euphemism for having sex in public places.
Specific targeting means website members are much more likely to find the outcome they seek, which means they’re more likely to pay a subscription fee, Pitt said.
“Niching creates a win-win situation for our partners,” he said. “Typically, niche-interest acquisition costs are lower, but the conversions and lifetime values are higher because people pay more and stick around longer.”
