Industry Vet Rochard Joins YNOT Group
YNOT EUROPE – Adult online industry veteran Rochard has joined YNOT Group LLC to handle sales and support for the company’s technology products. His first project will be YNOT Mail, a powerful combination of email marketing software and performance-enhancing services and technologies designed to increase deliverability while protecting companies’ reputations with internet service providers. YNOT Mail incorporates everything adult businesses need to plan, test, maintain and track effective email marketing campaigns.
Rochard began his 15-year career in adult as designer, developer and content producer for his own solo-girl site. After that, he directed operations at Lightspeed Cash for more than six years before working for Yanks Cash, Playboy and CherryPimps.
“I’ve done it all, from shooting content to HTML to putting up websites to marketing, customer support, affiliate management and hosting issues,” he said. “For the past two years I’ve been running and building blog networks for myself and a handful of other companies.”
A former U.S. Marine, Rochard has adopted no-nonsense opinions about almost everything. The recent travails of the adult entertainment industry are no exception.
“I really think our industry is in the perfect storm: a bad combination of the overall economy, tubes and mainstream sites such as Facebook and YouTube sucking down vast majorities of all internet traffic,” he said. “Our industry used to lead the way with innovation, and we’ve stopped. We need to get back to that again.”
YNOT Group President Connor Young praised not only Rochard’s perspective, but also his experience.
“When you have a chance to bring someone like Rochard on board, you find a way to make it happen,” Young said. “You’re talking about someone who has an incredible mix of experience in our specific industry combined with an unbeatable work ethic and a broad understanding of not just the industry, but the internet as well. He will be a very valuable asset to YNOT, and we are thrilled that he has agreed to take charge of YNOT Mail and future YNOT technology products.”
In addition to YNOT Mail, YNOT Group and its European sister corporation YNOT Europe Ltd. also own and operate the venerable YNOT.com news, education and resources site; YNOTeurope.com, YNOT.com’s sister publication devoted to the European market; and the YNOT Grand Prix webmaster kart-racing series. The companies will present the first YNOT Awards in September, and YNOT Market — a place to buy, sell and trade adult-related domains — will launch this summer.
