YNOT EUROPE – Apparently the French porn industry is well ahead of the industry in Italy. A producer in France has the distinction of having produced and directed the first porno film in 3D. Our cousins across the Alps may, in fact, are planning an entire on-demand television channel offering porn in three dimensions. And not only a channel: The whole thing could develop into a network devoted to hardcore 3D films.

But first things first. Initially, French director and producer Marc Dorcel‘s products will be available on-demand via a French internet protocol television [IPTV] platform. Attention to detail and commitment to quality in Dorcel’s 3D products reportedly are the same that have characterized each of the artist’s other productions. For the 3D titles, Dorcel is collaborating with 3DLized, specialists in 3D for TV and film. 3DLized has developed a special technique for transforming the 3D image.

This is the first on-demand service of this type, but viewers can rely on an archive containing 60-100 30-minute scenes, updated every week.

Dorcel not only plans to make contact with other French manufacturers, but also with European investors. If the project works, why not export it abroad? Given that good results are obtained, the director could become the biggest supplier of 3D adult content available today.
