HONG KONG – Through June 30, registration for Asia Adult Expo is free of charge for members of the adult entertainment and novelty industries. After June 30, registration will cost 200 Hong Kong dollars per person. The show will take place Aug. 29-31 in Hong Kong.

According to Arosia Tong, general manager for AAE corporate parent Vertical Expo Services Co. Ltd., the August show will be significantly larger than previous events. The company recently secured an additional exhibition hall to accommodate the increase in companies eager to present their goods and services to buyers and consumers worldwide.

“Importers, distributors and wholesalers from 25 countries already are registered to visit the expo looking for business opportunities,” Tong told YNOT Europe. “Registered buyers are coming from Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Czech Republic, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Netherlands, Panama, Philippines, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Thailand and the U.S., to name but a few. We receive calls and email inquiries about our show every day.”

Two new components have heightened interest in the August event, Tong noted: a sub-show devoted to lingerie, and a business-to-business conference entitled “New Opportunities.”

Intimate Lingerie Asia, the show-within-a-show, will highlight manufacturers from China and other countries eager to expand their reach. Tong said a special Taiwan pavilion already has been set up, and pavilions featuring other countries may be added.

“New Opportunities” offers speakers and attendees the chance to interact about the market’s status, trends and challenges. Several well-known speakers have signed up to participate, and Tong expects more to join the list of distinguished panelists.
