Anna Chapman Loses British Citizenship, Gains Naked Doppelganger
YNOT EUROPE – Russian spy Anna Chapman has been notorious for only a few weeks, but already an enterprising toymaker has created the sexy redhead’s double in action-figure form.
“The Spy I Could Love” Anna Chapman Spy Girl doll features jointed limbs, a plaid skirt, a handgun and an impressive, clothing-free bosom. A second Anna Chapman Spy Girl doll, “The Predator,” also comes complete with joints and a gun, but she’s dressed in slacks and a midriff tank top. Both figures are available at HeroBuilders.com for US$29.95 each.
HeroBuilders.com can thank Chapman’s ex-husband, London businessman Alex Chapman, for the inspiration. The dolls appeared shortly after he sold topless photos of the temptress to the British press. Anna and Alex Chapman married in 2002 after a whirlwind courtship and divorced four years later.
Anna Chapman, 28 and reportedly skilled in covert arts like steganography, became the subject of widespread media attention in early July when she pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering and espionage in the U.S. She and nine other Russians were deported to their homeland in a U.S.-Russia spy-swap deal. The UK revoked Chapman’s citizenship and passport upon her guilty plea.
Within days, U.S.-based pornography studio Vivid Entertainment offered Chapman a role in an upcoming production. Chapman’s New York-based attorney, Robert M. Baum, said earlier this week Chapman rejected the offer without even considering it.
However, according to the London Daily Mail, Chapman is seeking a six-figure deal to pose for Playboy magazine.
