SHAFTAs Shock London for Seventh Year

Pascal White and friends at SHAFTA Awards 2016LONDON – The seventh-annual Soft and Hardcore Adult Film and Television Awards, produced by Television X, were bestowed Sept. 8 during a riotous, Gatsby-themed do inside the Rah Rah Room on London’s Piccadilly Street. Former adult performer and Big Brother housemate Benedict Garrett hosted a roomful of adult industry luminaries, from among whom 11 received the coveted Golden Cock statuette.

The event caused no little titillation in the tabloid press. As the Daily Star described the scene, “a swanky London venue, where gaggles of tourists milled around the red carpet asking security what was going on before running away red-faced.”
