ExoClick Launches In-Video Advertising
YNOT – Barcelona-based advertising network ExoClick has added a tool to help clients insert ads into video on their websites. The ads may be inserted as pre-roll or post-roll material, or as in-stream text or banners.
According to company founder and Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Fonzé, the tool makes configuration easy right. Right from their administration panels, website owners can choose the look and “feel” of the ads, set display times and trigger ads based on specific events.
“This ad tool gives website owners much more flexibility in creating a custom feel to their ads over existing options currently in the marketplace,” Fonzé said.
As with all other ExoClick ad formats, the in-video ads are geo-targeted by country. The in-video ads employ a proprietary ad-serving technology to detect the nature of the video the user is watching, which allows advertisers to target their campaigns based on niches that best fit their products.
The solution is compatible with most Flash and HTML 5 video players, including JW Player, Flowplayer, Nuevolab and Kernel Video Player.

Founded in December 2006, ExoClick’s proprietary technology now serves more than 1.7 billion geo-targeted ad views daily, Fonzé said.
