Dorcel TV Goes Hi-Def
YNOT EUROPE – Marc Dorcel, a Paris-based multi-platform adult entertainment company, has launched a high-definition version of its erotic television channel. Dorcel TV HD targets European platforms including cable, satellite, IPTV and video-on-demand for the hotel market.
According to the company, “Dorcel TV’s HD technology provides the viewer with more visual quality and clarity of images that reveal eroticism’s true aesthetics.”
Created in 2006, Dorcel TV offers couples-oriented entertainment. The channel is available in 25 countries and in three languages via more than 70 operators. A Dorcel spokesperson said the product reaches one million subscribers.
“Launched five years ago as an answer to the growing demand of the audience to see quality adult content, Dorcel TV was created as a true linear thematic channel,” the spokesperson said. “Every day Dorcel TV broadcasts saucy reports, hot programs and three films accessible in French, English and German.”
Dorcel Chief Executive Officer Grégory Dorcel indicated his company listens to and responds to customer input.
“As always, Marc Dorcel tries to give audiences what they want,” he said. “With Dorcel TV HD, we offer the newest technologies to bring the best visual comfort along with high-quality content, whether with our films selected all across the globe, or our exclusive short programs, in tune with the viewers’ expectations on that particular segment.”
