YNOT EUROPE – For transsexual fans, Grooby3D is the ultimate online game. This new virtual experience from Grooby Productions lets players create their own T-girls and then film them from whatever angle they please in a wide range of sex scenes.

Steve Grooby is the owner of Grooby Productions, the company behind Grooby3D. YNOT.com caught up with him to learn more.

YNOT.com: Please tell us about Grooby 3D.
Steve Grooby: Grooby 3D is a transsexual gaming experience on Thrixxx‘s platform. They have co-branded sites with Kink.com, Jenna Jameson and Hustler, among others. As far as I am aware, though, this is the first one that specializes in transsexuals and modifications were made with that in mind.

Although there are gaming elements that are fun and give players the opportunity to move characters forward, for me the most interesting part is the ability to create your own models, from facial features, ethnicity, hair types right through to breast size and cock length. Also more subtle things like makeup colors and choices of lingerie. You can put your models into “scenes” and then direct the action, record it, edit it and make your own porn movie. Unless you actually try the game, it’s hard to explain how much fun it is.

From where did the inspiration for this software come?
Brad [Abram] at Thrixxx showed me the software they currently had, and I didn’t quite “get it.” Even though it looked good, I didn’t know what the goal or motivation to play was. When I downloaded the game at home and played for a while, I started to get excited about it. However, for an audience looking for a transsexual experience, some of the things needed adapting, especially on the bodies. Thrixxx worked with us to get it closer to how it should be.

Who is your target audience?
Fans of transsexual porn looking for something different. Although it’s obviously graphics and not realism, you can lose yourself in the game and in creating your characters very easily.

Anybody who fancies a go at being a porn director absolutely would love this, creating twosomes, threesomes, girls, guys and other T-girls. The scenarios you can put the models in — like a desert island, school, space or dungeon — are really cool. One of our producers is even using it as storyboard software before he shoots a scene.

You offer a “free” version and a “premium” version. What’s the difference?
Anybody can download and play with the game, creating models and so forth. But if they want to get better sex toys, costumes, locations or progress within the game, then they need to buy or earn tokens. This opens up whole new areas of the game.

I’d suggest everybody download the free version and give it a go first to see if it’s something they will enjoy.

What has the market response been like so far?
We’re only a week old and there has been some derision, but mostly it’s been positive. Certainly among those who’ve played it, it’s been very positive and people are enjoying their gameplay and creating the characters.

What upgrades do you have planned in the future?
One of the problems [the software exhibits] is with changing the body sizes massively. There’s already an atomic tits option, but I’d like to see an upgrade that allows a model to have a gigantic booty or cock. I think that would be great. I’d also like to see more realistic genitals, as I think that would go down well.

Are you hoping to build an online community of T-girl fans with this game?
Yes, that’s the next step: to get the community going and have competitions to show off the best models — or models that look like a porn star — and try to build up some fun.

Is Grooby 3D a way for T-girl fans to experience T-girl sex without having to go that far in reality?
No, this is more a voyeuristic experience — being able to control, pose and play with the models you’ve created. It’s fun and it’s strangely very erotic, but it’s just another way to present adult entertainment.
