Welsh Hottie Sophie Dee Nabs Roles in Two Indie Flicks
YNOT EUROPE – Adult performer Sophie Dee, a native of Wales, has completed filming roles in two mainstream indie horror flicks, both shot in the U.S. Both are expected to release later this year.
First to bow will be Theater of Derange, a compendium of five short films from top indie horror directors. Dee plays a deranged, Carrie-esque killer in the segment titled “Cannibal Blood Girl” directed by horror veteran Creep Creepersin.
Next up is the black-comedy/horror film Unmimely Demise, in which Dee plays Kate, wife of murderous Cheeky the Mime. Armed with an arsenal of invisible weapons, Cheeky wreaks havoc on anyone in his path. The film was written and directed by up-and-coming cult favorite James Cullen Bressack.
“It was very fun to work on these two projects, and very cool to play the killer in one of them,” Dee said. “I cannot wait until they come out.”
According to Bressack, 19, “Sophie is one of the most professional people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Not only does she know her lines and always arrives on set on time, but she also has a very warm onscreen presence and a natural ability to perform. Her adorable qualities and dedication to her craft make her onscreen presence amazing. You truly forget who she is in the adult industry and just get lost in her spot-on portrayal of the role. An amazing actor.”
Dee’s star appears to be on the rise. She currently is featured on the cover of Australia’s People magazine.
