The European Summit Adds Sponsors, Events
YNOT EUROPE – The European Summit, an adult entertainment trade show to take place Sept. 20-23 in Prague, has expanded its international flavor with the addition of new sponsors and event hosts from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the UK.
Partnercash, based in Stockern, Austria, will promote its Saboom brand of high-tech interactive adult entertainment as one of the headlining sponsors of the summit.
“We met some of our largest affiliates at the last summit in February in Barcelona,” said Chief Executive Officer Christoph Pass. “This has not happened to us ever at any conference worldwide before. This demonstrated to us that the organisers of The European Summit are on the right track with their strategy to allow affiliates to enter their conferences for free.
“In the end, as an affiliate program, we mainly go to conferences to meet with existing and potential new affiliates for our program,” he continued. “Therefore, we are happy to see that the organisers of The European Summit are re-investing a substantial part of our sponsorship money to allow more affiliates to participate in the Summit for free.”
Hamburg-based affiliate program Cashdorado, another headlining sponsor, will promote its live-webcam brand Fundorado.
“Having seen that the organizers of The European Summit managed to attract a good crowd of businesspeople, including a lot of affiliates, to their conference in Barcelona last February finally convinced us [to sponsor the next event],” Cashdorado Marketing Manager Hauke Jacobsen said. “For us as an affiliate program, the affiliate is the centerpiece of our company’s well-being. So, we are happy to see that a part of our sponsorship investment stays in the industry, in order to allow even more affiliates to enter the conference for free.
“A second strong motivator for us is that the organizers moved the event from Barcelona to Prague, which will enable more affiliates from the German-speaking markets and Eastern Europe to attend,” he added. “These two markets are highly interesting to our company.”
EPGBill, a Frankfurt-based internet payment services provider, also signed on as a headlining sponsor, saying it, too, had a positive experience in Barcelona in February.
After that, “it was clear for us that we would continue to support The European Summit,” CEO Christian Diegelmann said. “Having moved the event to Prague, close to such interesting markets like the German-speaking market, Eastern Europe and Russia, only supported our decision. Seeing that the organisers of The European Summit are still on track to grow the event from 513 participants in February to over 700 participants this fall finalized our decision to come on board as headlining sponsor one more time.”
VX|Cash, the affiliate program for Zurich-based amateur live webcam site VISIT-X.net, plans to host the “VISIT-X Happy Hour” during the summit in order to give attendees a chance to reconnect with old friends and cement relationships with new ones.
“Prague being located in the very heart of Europe makes the upcoming summit kind of a home game for all Europeans, and the Eastern European webmaster market is highly interesting for us,” a VX|Cash spokesperson said. “As the summit is the only major conference happening in Eastern Europe, it was a ‘no-brainer’ for us to support this initiative.”
Reporo, a mobile adult advertising network based in London, will sponsor the summit’s main party, to take place beginning at 23:45 Sept. 21 in the VIP area of Duplex, one of Prague’s most exclusive clubs.
“We have been very happy with our sponsorship at the last European Summit,
so it was a logical consequence for us to continue,” said Reporo CEO Kieran O’Keeffe said. “The European Summit always delivers hot parties, cool crowds and
unforgettable surprises.”
Payment Network AG, headquartered in Gauting near Munich, will promote its alternative real-time payment solution SOFORT as a Diamond Sponsor, Show Badge Sponsor and Hotel Registration Sponsor.
“We have been participating in The European Summit from the very beginning in 2009 as attendees,” said Executive Director for Strategy Sascha Winkler. “As we have always come home from each of the summit conferences with good results, it was only a logical consequence that we would start sponsoring the event in order to accelerate our progress.”
