YNOT EUROPE – B2BForum.net, established in August 2010 by the organizers of The European Summit, recently signed up its 1,000th member. The forum is an international networking platform dedicated to the business of online entertainment including games, gambling, adult content, personals and other categories. Founder Andreas Bischoff said he created the destination to help online entrepreneurs make contacts beyond their geographical boundaries, primarily in the markets of Eastern Europe.

“We are extremely happy with this 11-months result,” Bischoff said. “That we have been able to grow [the forum] to over 1,000 professional members already is a huge success for us.”

The website offers a range of functions including company listings, a career corner, forums, blogs, video-chat and instant messaging. The site also includes a search engine to help potential new business contacts find each other. Membership is free.

“We will continue to try our best to provide the online entertainment industries with a platform where they can meet and network with other industry professionals and announce all relevant company news,” Bischoff said. “We will continue to follow our basic beliefs and allow everyone to speak their mind — even our competitors — and keep censorship to a bare minimum and exercise [censorship] only when absolutely necessary.

“We hope to continue adding more relevant professionals and would be very happy if we could announce our 2,000th member by this time next year.”
