YNOT EUROPE – Asia Adult Expo 2011 will take place Aug. 19-21at The Venetian Macau, bringing together vendors and buyers from more than 20 countries. To assist both buyers and sellers, the business-to-business trade show has established a personalized “business matching” service to connect buyers with suppliers able to meet their needs.

“International buyers started their registration six months before show,” said Kenny Lo, chief executive officer of Hong Kong-based show organizer Vertical Expo Services Co. Ltd. “The previous years’ consecutive successes proved AAE is an important trade hub in Asia for the adult industry.”

Pre-registered trade visitors hail from Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, the U.S. and Vietnam, he noted.

“They are all ready to source different kinds of quality products like adult novelties, lingerie, lubricants, etc.,” Lo said.

U.S.-based Beamonstar Products has indicated it would like to contact AAE exhibitors prior to arriving at the show so representatives may develop a relationship prior to meeting face-to-face in August.

Ben Wa, a 65-year-old U.S. adult toys and novelties company, is planning “extensive sourcing activity” during the how, Lo said. This will be Ben Wa’s first time attending the expo. CEO David Gordon said his company, too, seeks contact with potential suppliers prior to the show dates, in order to make face-to-face meetings more productive.

Exhibitors include Nanma Manufacturing Co Ltd., Electric Lingerie, BACI, Playboy and JOYDIVISION, all of which plan to showcase new products, Lo said.
