YNOT EUROPE – BelAmi has released what the Prague-based studio believes to be the first-ever Blu-ray Disc containing a 3D gay porn title. 3D BelAmi is available as a two-disc combo pack containing both Blu-ray and standard DVD versions of the film in both 3D and 2D formats.

Shot on location in Ibiza, Spain, 3D BelAmi features some of the studio’s most popular models, including Dolph Lambert, Kris Evans, Jack Harrer and Vadim Farrell.

He also said BelAmi experienced a surge in DVD sales during 2010, when the studio launched a second DVD line produced by Lukas Ridgeston Productions. The second line’s introduction doubled BelAmi’s annual releases from 12 to 24 titles. During the same period, other studios cut back on the number of DVDs they produce and moved many of their new releases online.

“The fact that 3D BelAmi was shot entirely in 3D and is being released on DVD and Blu-ray shows our commitment to DVDs,” Dixon said. “We continue to invest in our DVD lines and cater to all fans online with both BelAmiOnline.com and Gduroy.com.”
