New Mobile Redirect System Curbs Bounce Rates

YNOT EUROPE – London-based adult mobile ad network Reporo Limited has launched a new service designed to optimize advertiser redirect campaigns. The company calls The Branded Redirect system “the next step in campaign optimization, with benefits for both mobile users and advertisers.”

Mobile redirection and pop-under campaigns often send end-users to landing pages they may not have intended to visit. Disoriented by the shift and possibly worried about hijacking, the user may beat a hasty retreat. Consequently, the advertiser loses a potential sale.

With The Branded Redirect, however, the brand the user expected to follow appears on the new landing page in the form of a small, banner-like image at the top, reassuring the user he went where he intended to go. According to Reporo Operations Director Neil Ives, the system “significantly improves” the time a user spends on the landing page, thus driving more interactions, decreasing bounce rates and potentially generating more clicks to boost conversion ratios.

It’s “a simple but highly effective solution for multiplying client conversions and increasing the performance of ad campaigns,” Ives said.
