YNOT EUROPE – Despite the chilly weather, a field of 55 drivers heated up the YNOT Grand Prix’s Barcelona leg March 1.

And the Europeans proved they know racing by claiming all the honors.

Presented by title sponsor 2000Charge, the YNOT Grand Prix Barcelona was a hot contest from start to finish. Off the track, things went along without a hitch. The Cam4-sponsored buses provided efficient, comfortable transportation to and from Scratch Indoor Karting Penedès, about 30 minutes from the headquarters hotel for The European Summit, for which the race served as an official opening event.

Things proceeded smoothly at the high-tech track, as well, thanks in large part to driver and spectator wrangling by TES organizers Walter and Andreas. Always in high spirits, Walter and Andreas added a level of efficiency to the event that YNOT Vice President and Grand Prix honcho LAJ called “invaluable.”

“We had 55 drivers and 70 spectators,” he said. “Everybody had a good time. Andreas and Walter were a huge help.

“The race was a great kickoff event for TES,” he added.

The race proved one of the most challenging drivers have encountered: An elevated level, two tunnels and multiple switchbacks complicated an extra-long track LAJ described as “interesting.” The best lap time was about 44 seconds — significantly longer than in previous events.

While Americans and Canadians may have trembled, the Europeans scoffed. Three emerged victorious:

The YNOT Grand Prix, the adult industry’s international championship kart-racing series, will make its next pit stop in Phoenix April 3, in conjunction with The Phoenix Forum.

In addition to 2000Charge, sponsors of the Barcelona race included JuicyAds, Dating Factory, FNCash, Cumlouder, LabelSex, RIVCash, 69Cash, BadoinkCash and WebCamWiz.
