YNOT EUROPE – In an effort to ease the typically frantic trade-show experience, organizers of The European Summit have released a free application that enables attendees to plan their schedules, get updated information about speakers and seminars and network with other delegates right on their mobile devices.

“We are delighted to announce that our new complimentary conference app for The European Summit is available for use on iPhones, iPads, Android devices and laptops,” said organizer Andreas Bischoff. “The app is designed to enhance the experience of the attendee before, during and after the show by putting a full event schedule, personalized agenda, exhibitor listings, floorplan maps, social networking, speaker listings and lots, lots more in the palm of their hand. Now attendees can experience The European Summit in a whole new way.”

Bischoff said the app provides a secure environment available only to registered summit attendees. Those who download and use the tool will find navigating not only the summit, but also the surrounding area, much easier. For him, though, the biggest boon is the app’s networking capabilities.

“Using our new networking tool, you will have the opportunity to identify the people you would like to meet and contact them before the event via the messaging system,” he said. “You may also schedule meetings to take place during the conference.

“Because the app is secure, your email address will not be displayed,” Bischoff continued. “Nonetheless, fellow attendees can send you messages within the app, and you will receive a notification email. If you would prefer not to be contacted, you may turn the networking function off within the app itself.”

In addition, he noted, the app will simplify staying up-to-date with the unavoidable schedule modifications that always seem to creep into conference programs.

Via the app, “you will have instant access to the latest version of the conference program and be kept up to date by messages from the organizers,” Bischoff said. “The app also provides access to our private online portal for summit attendees and sponsors.”
