YNOT EUROPE – Libido TV, a new offering available daily between midnight and five o’clock in the morning, debuted on channel 221 as part of the CanalSat lineup owned by Canal +. The new programming joins French Lover, Pink TV, XXL, Dorcel TV, Penthouse HD and Private Space, Libido TV in the French media landscape.

By mixing sex and humor, the channel offers a range of original programming, including porn comedies and parodies as well as more traditional X-rated films. An eclectic lineup should prove to be a major asset for the upstart broadcaster.

For it’s debut, Libido TV chose Petite chaine qui démonte, starring Angell Summers (who recently received the British SHAFTA Award for Best Foreign Performer), former porn actress Penelope Tiger and the seductive Titof, who are joined by Ophélie Marie, formerly a castmate on the reality TV show Secret Story. Marie gets time in the spotlight by herself, as well, stripping off while she presents weather reports.

The channel’s offbeat side is impressive, as well: The Stephano Show combines outlandish hardcore scenes and trailers with the director’s signature humor and talent. Le Tourniké is a game show during which four couples compete in libertine sex games, and Le Télé à Chattes is a parody of home shopping programs where the goods offered for sale are sex toys. Other shows and series include Porn Star à Domicile, Confessions Coquines, Spécial Amateur, Made in France and Laetitia à Domicile.
