YNOT EUROPE – Feminism often is discussed in relation to porn; therefore, we could not miss an event related to it: the Feminist Porn Awards.

The longest running celebration of erotica focused on women and marginalized people, the awards have been presented by Canadian sex store Good For Her since 2006. Entries for consideration during 2011 will be accepted through 15 February. In order to be eligible, the movie, short, website or other entry must meet at least one of the following criteria: A woman produced, wrote, directed, photographed or otherwise played a significant non-performing role in the production, it depicts genuine female pleasure, or it “expands the boundaries of sexual representation on film and challenges stereotypes that are often found in mainstream porn.”
