YNOT EUROPE – London-based Allure Outlet Ltd. has launched a program it says offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to operate their own independent sales businesses much as they might on Amazon.co.uk or eBay.co.uk — except they can sell sex toys.

AllureOutlet.co.uk already offers consumers a selection of adult toys, lingerie, gifts and games. By allowing adult products retailers to open their own stores within the existing virtual mall, everybody benefits, a spokesperson indicated: Entrepreneurs may establish or extend their existing businesses to new markets using Allure Outlet’s backend, customer service and billing mechanisms, and Allure Outlet will generate extra revenue and consumer goodwill without having to stock and ship additional merchandise itself.

“Here at Allure Outlet, we realise that listing and promoting sex toys and adult products on similar non-adult marketplaces can be somewhat problematic due to the audiences they are aimed at,” the company notes on its website. “We can offer an additional channel to sell your sex toys and adult products as well as work with you to further promote your brand to targeted customers. We provide sellers the ability to set-up or extend an existing business by selling through their custom Allure Outlet storefront. We can offer sellers the facility to create and manage a store and products from a user-friendly, flexible admin panel allowing you to manage your store’s own settings and products.”

Set-up is free and does not require any technical skills, a spokesperson noted. Allure makes the sales, collects the payment and forwards the orders to the store’s owner to fulfill. In exchange, the outlet takes a 15-percent commission on all sales, excluding shipping and handling fees.

“Sellers and store owners can sign up and start selling sex toys, lingerie and clothing alongside other sellers, which results in offering customers competitive pricing and a unique experience,” the spokesperson said.

In addition to competitive pricing, consumers will find seller and product reviews, wish lists, and an Amazon-like feature called “Sold by Other Sellers,” which pops up whenever a given product is available from more than one source.

“The savvy shopper who likes to shop at marketplaces such as Amazon will love Allure Outlets’ Sold by Other Sellers feature,” the spokesperson said.
