YNOT EUROPE – The 22nd Eurowebtainment will take place Nov. 21-23 in a new venue: the five-star Sofitel Vienna, in Austria. Only conference attendees will have access to the hotel during the event.

Although networking will remain a significant part of Eurowebtainment, this year what the organizers call “infotainment” will be the primary focus, creating a summit-like atmosphere.

Lectures, workshops and panel discussions led by noted European authorities will occupy the bulk of each day, running concurrently with networking sessions and product demonstrations. Dr. Helmut Thoma, a professor and former director of Radio Télévision Luxembourg will present a keynote address. Subsequent to the keynote, a gala dinner — one of Eurowebtainment’s highlights — will provide attendees opportunities to mingle with celebrities and media bigshots.

Social gatherings always have been a big part of Eurowebtainment, and the Vienna event will be no exception. Multiple receptions, networking sessions and deal-making opportunities will take place each day. Particularly beneficial, organizers said, will be the business lounges set aside for various countries, where attendees may meet with representatives of markets specific to those countries.

As in the past, attendees may expect free food, beverages and entry into accompanying events like Mobilewebtainment.

For the sixth time, Mobilewebtainment will take place as part of Eurowebtainment. According to organizers, numerous major telecommunication companies already have signed up to attend.
