YNOT EUROPE – Luxembourg-based multimedia adult company Manwin has pulled the plug on one of its most extreme adult-content sites. The URL PornstarsPunishment.com, formerly promoted with the tagline “hot pornstars [sic] learning rough lessons in sex,” now redirects to Brazzers.com.

On Tuesday, Manwin issued a statement saying the site’s removal from the web was “in line with the growth and direction Manwin would like its brands to take.” Going forward, the statement noted, Manwin intends to focus on “high-end adult production that appeal[s] to a global audience.”

Affiliates will be paid the commissions they are owed for promoting the site, the statement indicated. Affiliate questions may be emailed to Manwin Director of Sales Nick P.

“The acquisition of Twistys, licensing agreement with Playboy Enterprises, and launch of Babes.com all embrace the high glamour niche we’re targeting,” Vice President of Production Frank L. said in the statement. “If you’ve been paying attention to the brands we’re highlighting, the termination of Pornstars Punishment should come as no surprise.”

Consumers whose memberships at Pornstars Punishment had not expired will be offered an equivalent membership at another Manwin-owned site of their choice, the statement said.
