YNOT EUROPE – Hotrods: the British Gay Porn Awards 2012 celebrated its first-ever outing July 8 at Union in Vauxhall. The star-studded party presented trophies in 10 porn-related categories, plus three lifetime achievement awards.

In addition to garnering lifetime achievement honors commemorating its five years in the business, Alphamales (formerly Alphamale Media) also saw several of its performers snag wins in their categories. Contract stars for parent company Eurocreme Group also claimed a few victories.

Winners included:

Best International Star: Spencer Reed
Best Cumshot: Isaac Jones in Sex Games (Alphamales)
Sexiest Arse: Gio Cruz
Best Studio: Alphamales

“I was thrilled to even be nominated, let alone win the Best Newcomer [award],” Dubois said. “My recent Eurocreme exclusivity has proved to be a catalyst for my work to become even more renowned and popular with fans.

“It’s always an honor to win anything, especially when it’s down to a 100-percent public vote,” he added. “So a massive thanks to all those who voted for me, and I will keep on making hot films for them to enjoy.”

Eurocreme Chief Executive Gavin Hay, who founded Alphamale Media and performs under the name Trojan Rock, said he always feels honored to be nominated for awards, “but winning is magnificent.”

“We are thrilled to win [the Best Studio award],” he said. “We have often been recognized that we are a studio that discovers great talent then see our models move on to larger studios in America and worldwide. Now we are that big studio, and will be bringing you even more new talent to enjoy.

“To have the recognition of all this new energy from the stars we are screening to the fans is amazing,” he added. “This award is particularly significant, due to present re-branding to Alphamales from Alphamale Media. We are ready to prove this award is well deserved.”
