Got Mobile Traffic but No Mobile Website?

YNOT EUROPE – According to a recent report from Juniper Research, adult revenue derived from delivering mobile content to smartphones and tablets is expected to top $1 billion by 2015. The newest mobile devices provide faster data connections, large screens and a host of billing opportunities, allowing users not only to view static content, but also to participate in interactive services like live chat.

To help adult webmasters who may not have mobilized their own websites yet, London-based Adultmoda has launched a redirect solution for the adult web. A company spokesperson said the service allows any webmaster to make money from the estimated 23 percent of website traffic that originates in the mobile space.

“Users visiting a desktop website on a mobile device generally have a poor experience, with tiny unreadable text, sideways scrolling and broken functionality,” said Chief Executive Officer Terry Jackson. “This inevitably leads to lost revenue for the site owner. Adultmoda has launched a solution which detects whether the user is on a mobile device and, if so, redirects them to a mobile advertiser’s site.”

Over the past couple of years, tremendous growth has occurred in the number of people accessing desktop sites on their mobile devices, he added, meaning earning potential is rising.

“The mobile redirect solution now opens up Adultmoda’s mobile monetizing expertise to all,” Jackson said.

Launched in 2006, Adultmoda claims to have served more than 240 billion adult mobile ads.
