ZWAAGDIJK, Netherlands – One of Europe’s largest distributors of intimate pleasure products has expanded its stock of the tokidoki X Lovehoney line of sex toys.

Eropartner began stocking the line as soon as the campy toys debuted in 2016. Recent press coverage convinced the company to broaden its relationship with the manufacturer.

“The combined potential readership of these media titles are in the region of 150 million [people],” said Elcke Wieffering, a purchaser for the distributor. “It’s incredibly important for us to monitor what the mainstream press are talking about in terms of trends, as this directly translates to what enquiries we get from our customers.

“What is being written about on websites such Buzzfeed is what people are coming in and asking about in stores,” she added. “This really is a time to capitalise on these great media mentions.”

In addition to Buzzfeed, the tokidoki X Lovehoney collection has been mentioned by Cosmopolitan.com, Cosmopolitan.co.uk, Love it! (a wide-circulation weekly title in the U.K.), and Marie Claire’s U.K. edition. One reviewer commented that the Unicorn vibe is a great way to introduce toys to relationships in an non-intimidating way.

“Unicorns are everywhere at the moment,” said Lovehoney trade sales executive Jade Bawa. “You can’t escape them in the press or on social [media], either.

“We have been working closely with Eropartner to make sure they are able to offer their customers the best possible deals during this period,” she continued. “It’s been a delight to work with them on their current unique, bespoke offering. It is great to see the adult toy market is as excited about unicorns as we are.”
