Forno IP TV Service Launches in Europe

Forno IP TV
YNOT EUROPE – Forno, a new service devoted to adult entertainment, has launched across Europe. The channel allows content owners, publishers and brands to distribute, promote and monetize their branded material across multiple Smart TV platforms. The service works with television peripherals including Blu-ray players and set-top boxes from several manufacturers.

“A recent survey found that 64 percent of men watch porn films with their partners, so reaching them through their main and preferred entertainment device is a major new route to the end-user that opens up distribution of internet-delivered adult content directly to the TV screen,” the company’s marketing director said.

With a single registration at Forno.tv, Smart TV owners may access, explore and purchase content from all content partners. Each content partner has its own dedicated and branded section within the Forno platform, which offers flexibility in content proposition and presentation. The Forno platform can accommodate all pricing models, from rentals to short-term or long-term subscriptions and pay-per-minute viewing.

The UK-based company actively seeks new content partners.

“These are very exciting times for Forno,” the marketing director said. “We’ll be bringing a wide range of high-quality adult movies to people with Smart TVs and connected TV devices right across Europe — and at very competitive prices. Different from a lot of internet porn, Forno is bringing [standard-definition] and [high-definition] titles to Smart TV owners. We’re very optimistic about getting people to sign up for the service, and it’s straight to the TV at home — safe, secure and easy.”

At launch, Forno was available on the ISIO Smart TV portal of TechniSat TVs and digital receivers. The marketing director said the company has secured distribution contracts with several Smart TV manufacturers and will launch its service across these brands “in the coming weeks and months.”
