Europeans Dominate YNOT Grand Prix in Prague

YNOT Grand Prix in Prague
YNOT EUROPE – A new kart-racing powerhouse emerged to lead the pack during the final race of the YNOT Grand Prix’s 2012 season. Czech Cash’s Uda drove away with top honors in a hotly contested field: Fewer than four seconds separated the first four finishers.

The Prague leg of the YNOT Grand Prix, presented by 2000Charge as an adjunct to The European Summit, has closed the season for the past two years. The second-annual Prague race not only attracted a field of determined, equally matched competitors, but also one of the largest spectator crowds to date. More than 150 people attended the event to cheer on their favorite drivers as they careened around a challenging one-kilometer-long track that spanned an average of six meters in width, reaching nine meters in the curves.

“A pure adrenaline event, the YNOT Grand Prix kart-racing tournament is perfect fun for anyone with a serious competitive streak and an addiction to speed,” said Connor Young, president of Houston-based parent company YNOT Group LLC. “It just keeps getting more and more popular.”

All four top finishers in Prague were European, leaving American and Canadian companies sadly underrepresented in the winners’ circle. The triumphant during Prague’s final grudge race were:

  • First Place: Dominik Juda from Czech Cash with a lap time of 1:26:11 — the best lap time of the day.
  • Second Place: Raphael Berkien from 2000Charge with a lap time of 1:26:42.
  • Third Place: Adrien Fonzé from ExoClick with a lap time of 1:28:98.

Although no official fourth-place trophy was given, Geoffrey of ExoClick crossed the line in almost a photo-finish with his teammate, Fonzé.

“Geoffrey was essentially on Adrien’s ass the whole time and couldn’t pass him,” said YNOT Vice President LAJ. “The track was very difficult to pass on — too many turns and too narrow.”

Launched in 2010, the YNOT Grand Prix is the adult industry’s championship kart-racing series, awarding both team and individual titles. Component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst cutthroat competition. Cunning and good-natured trash talk play as big a role as skill, but the camaraderie is priceless.

In addition to 2000Charge, sponsors of the Prague leg of the circuit included PussyCash, RIVCash, Dating Factory, FNCash and ExoClick.
